Chitosan is a natural fiber with a hightened fat-binding capacity. Chitosan has the property of binding itself to the nutritional fat in the human body. The substance resulting from Chitosan bound to fat is indigestible by our organism. This means that fat absorbed by Chitosan cannot be assimilated by the body and is subsequently excreted without being used. To reach optimal fat-binding effect, take Chitosan about 15 minutes before dinner. The vitamin C contained in Chitosan helps boost its fat-binding properties.
