Of all pure proteins whey protein has the highest biological value (BV) of 104. In the speed of its reabsorbtion whey protein is surpassed only by amino acid hydrolysates. As early as 30 minutes after consumption amino acids of whey protein can be found in the bloodstream. That makes whey protein an ideal protein source for both prior to training as well as post to working out and whenever your body is in inmediate need for protein. Its high amount of BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids = L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine = 22 g/100 g) and Glutamin (18 g) enhances the effect of PRO-H WHEY because those amino acids make up the large part of muscle protein and are broken down during athletic activities (workouts). Despite its high amount of protein PRO-H WHEY is also high in all vitamins and minerals required for muscle growth. Due to its low amount of carbohydrate PRO-H WHEY can be used for the purposes of a low-carb diet.

Recommended Use:

A single portion of 40 g (= 3 level measuring spoons) should be stirred into 300 ml of fluid (milk, water, or fruit juice). Can be drunk equally well at mealtimes, in between mealtimes, or in the evenings just before sleep. Up to four single portions can be taken daily, as needed.
